Default Sirius reception quality declining??

Hi all

Just curious. Has anyone notice a decline in Sirius satellite reception over the last year or two? Mine has gotten to where it cuts out left and right now. Not sure if it's an RER issue or my antenna or with Sirius itself. Just curious if anyone noticed same. Thanks!!

I only listen to it for talk radio. The music stations sound like 1970s AM radio. I won't be renewing.

I have same issue. Thought at first maybe receiver needed flashed, but it's the same in three different vehicles.

Cool So Far - So Good

I have had Sirius-XM in my '08, '12 and current '15 JKU's. I have never had a problem and all three have been hardtops. The only folks I know who have experienced problems have full length roof racks, and that problem can be solved with the installation of an external antenna. DF

Ya it's strange. My girlfriend say no change in her rogue. I have a 15 w a 2010 Mygig and stock antenna but reception quality has declined. But it's always in the exact same spots on the same highways. Thought maybe they changed something in the satellites. But it's really annoying. So often I cut out to HDD cuz I get fed up. Don't think it's my head unit or antenna.

I've noticed also, thought it might be the radio but guess it's not if you all are having the same issue, I only had 2 areas that it would cut out briefly in my daily travels now it's multipal, realy fustrating

Exactly same for me. Would blip out as I passed exit 13 then come right back. No biggie. Now tho it cuts on and off like crazy from exit 12 to exit 16. Usually get fed up somewhere tween there and turn on hdd. Under tree cover used to be spotty but is now terrible. Wonder what changed on their end...

No issues for me. I have Sirius in jeep, BMW, and mini. Haven't noticed any drop off of signal.

Default I agree

I have even called Sirius about it. I had Sirius in my 04 4runner, 06 Dodge truck, 11 Accord, 13 Flex and now in my 16 JKUR. On any hill, building, wall that is immediately to the south of me, my radio will lose signal. This use to never happen, even if there were trees above the car it wouldn't lose signal......it is frustrating.
