Bishop, I don't have an answer to your question but may be able to lead you in a direction to find one. Not sure if you know about the mygig website already but it should be a good place to find the answer: www.mofv.com/mygig/ Hope this helps

Might want to check all your connections behind the head unit

Cool

I drove out to Vegas from NJ in the beginning of July. This happened to me about 8 times and pissed me off. I think it just over heated? Each day when I would get on the road again it would be working. Radio, CD and saved music played, only satellite radio failed. I checked with my service guy while on the road and he mentioned something about bringing it into a dealer and see about having the radio software updated/re-programmed? Come to think of it, I never heard back or did anything. It hasn't failed since.

You can go to http://wkjeeps.com/wk_nav_2.htm and read about this. This does not mean there is something wrong with your radio, it indicates that there is something wrong with your SDAR or it's connection. Either the wire is lose from the head unit or crimped somewhere.

From the site:
“Module Failure” message displays when trying to use satellite mode. Usually caused by an electrical short in the SDAR antenna, not the radio. This appears to be most common on Durango and Aspen. The SDAR antenna cable is usually the source of the problem. Check behind Driver's A-Pillar trim for possible pinched antenna cable and or loose and or bent pin at the back of the radio. "Module failure" message does not indicate the need to replace the radio.

I have the same "Module Failure" with my Sirius. Has anyone had sucess with a dealer warranty fix? Could Flashpaq cause it?
