I believe that $295 is for the Sirius receiver and antenna that integrates with the base model radio, not for the 1yr service.

That may be so in this case and why it is so high. I don't have my break down anymore but I do remember there being a charge of 100 something for the 1 year subscription.

When you renewed, did it include traffic for your nav, or just the radio?

My $25 for 6mo was just the radio service. They seem to want substantially more for the traffic and Travel Link services.

I did lifetime XM in my 2009 Tahoe for $400 i think.

I'm considering Sirius in my Jeep; however, you guys say the quality sucks? I know it's not CD, but its 100x better than FM in my tahoe.

is it bad in the jeep?

I don't want to pay just to test the audio quality, but I do like the morning mash up lol.
