Default sPod problem

Anyone have any experience with a (+) lead out to the accessory stop working on an sPod?

Flipped my #2 switch today and nothing. Pulled my tester out and the wire on the switch harness into the sPod was showing good, fuse was good, relay was good, (-) ground terminal was good, the (+) terminal on switch 2 was the only part of the circuit not working.

Tried other relays and fuses just incase, moved the lights to another switch to make sure it wasn't the light, it's definitely the (+) SWT 2 terminal that's not working.

Any ideas?

Can you swap the wires in the sPOD on a good circuit over to the possibly bad switch? If you do, and that good circuit stops working, you've isolated your problem. Contact sPOD for a new switch. It is a hassle getting the switch body out. Good luck!

Mark, I dont think it's a switch problem. When I throw the 'bad' switch (#2), it still gets power to the circuit board on that switch (white wire in switch harness), so it's definitely under the hood on the actual power unit somewhere.

In from switch shows power. Problem isn't between the switches in cab and power unit.

Fuse 2 is good.

Diode 2 is good. I've swapped relays between working circuits and this circuit to make sure it wasn't a bad relay. Relay is good.

No power out to SW2 side. Either a problem with the bus/pos connection, or could be the relay harness on the board.

Ground side of 2 is good.

I've swapped the accessories to make sure my Rigids still worked...they're fine. I pulled the board out and checked the solder connection on the bottom side, all visibly fine.

Guess I'll have to call sPod! Horrible timing for this to go!

Problem resolved. Not sure what it was, I'm guessing maybe a pinched wire, but it all works again.

The guys at sPOD were awesome in their customer support and asked me to check a few things beyond what I had checked before but offered to send out a new unit if it didn't repair it.
