Default Sprint Booster with a CB Radio??

I was just looking to order a Sprint Booster from Quadratec and I noticed the little paragraph about CB Radios interfering with it.
Has anyone installed one of these with a CB ? I would like to know what it does and how to possibly solve it before I order one.
I would assume that with A good SWR and a properly grounded system I shouldn't have any real problems but I'm not sure.

Thanks

Throttle response certainly improves with the Sprint Booster, it has a 3 stage light and mode display, it is either in the the "off" position with no lights displayed, in the"on" position with a green light displayed or a fast accelerating position with a red light displayed, you can really tell the difference in all 3 positions, I don't exactly now how it works just look in their website but it certainly works as intended, had it on my JEEP for the last 2 years.
If you want to get one make sure you specify whether your JEEP is standard or automatic, they have different Boosters per vehicle.
Highly recommend, hope this helps

Interesting. I have had both for quite some time, and have occasional had CB issues that I have attributed to my CB. Recently just bought another CB in order to fix my issue, however it still remains.

Basically, occasionally when I press the talk button on the mic, the jeep will flash the electrical signal on the dash on lose power until I restart.

On my last CB, it initially work fine and developed the problem after several months. It was a cheap 50 dollar uniden. Towards the end it was happening on every button press. The new CB is an expensive full size Cobra. It has worked flawless for 3 months, however the other day it happened 1 time, but not subsequently.

So, I don't know. Maybe this is the issue Sprintbooster is talking about on their website? Dunno?

Your swr and ground would not stop this. The better ground and swr would make it worse by transmitting more power. You could wrap the sprint booster in foil tape from the hardware store then go over it with black tape. This would block the rfi. I had to do this to my lock pick.

I had a similar problem with my Cummins Dodge. After installing a power box underneath the dash, keying up would nearly kill the truck. I solved it by putting toroidal choke cores on the wiring.
