Lightbulb Been almost a week, happy so far

wayland1985,

I've had my Stealth Pod installed for almost a week, was hoping to hear from other people first but figured I'd take the plunge - and I'm happy with it. I picked it up from Crutchfield. <EDIT> I already had the sub and amp left over from my previous vehicle, figured I'd put them to good use...

*In case anyone was wondering, I've had NO PROBLEMS with the Metra harness (got it about a month ago on eBay)

Current setup - *My 2DR Jeep originally had the non-Infinity HU

Sony CDX-GT820IP (Metra XSVI-6522), and 2 pairs of Infinity Reference 6022si (powered by HU)
Elemental Designs 11Kv.2 (10" mounted in Stealth Pod, powered by Jensen JPA460 amp)

the bass is plentiful; full, with no vibration from the pod. I do have the inside of the pod lined with polyfil, not sure if it's even needed.

The pod does jostle 'slightly' over rough road (potholes, etc.), though I think this is more due to how I installed the two mounting posts than anything else.

if you want to build a box yourself, you could probably fit one 10" sub and a small amp in the stock storage space in the rear that gets locked by the door. that way, not only is it locked in there, but you wouldn;t even be able to see it.

Default Bazooka.

It's going to be bulkier, but have you thought about powered bazooka sub? It may be cheaper than stealth pod. I thoguht about the stealth pod, but I decided to go with the bazooka, because it was way cheaper.
