I had an occasional stereo pop. Very very loud. I thought it was my XM reciever. The dealership called me tuesday and said that I had a recall on my computer programming. I thought it was for the engine control... So I made an appointment for last thursday. Brought it in... the recall was for the stereo. The reprogrammed something in the computer... and vualla... no more pop.

side note: I love my dealership. everytime I've brought it in for it's free oil changes my jeep comes out clean and detailed inside and out. Thursday... a simple computer flash... and they detailed it again. They even cleaned all the mud out of the front air dam. Tarbox Jeep N.A, MA.

 

I had the same problem and the "flash" fixed it...Mine started doing it about 5 minutes into my ride home the day I picked it up !!
