Anyone done it? I'm looking to be able to turn on JUST the front two fog lights without having to turn on the stalk to the 'marker' or 'running lights' position first.

I'm guessing it's a simple thing to do but I don't have a wiring diagram handy (anyone got access to one?)

It might be harder than you think, due to everything being tied into the computer. You might be better off just running a new switch.

Well, either way I'd want to see a wiring diagram - see if I can trigger the factory relay (assuming there is one) by a simple ground or power connection...
