Default subs

I know very little about car speakers and amps and so on but i know that I want more in my jeep. i would like to add maybe some better dash and sound bar speakers and a amp and sub. What are some recommendations and would I need a new head unit or can I use the stock. I don't want to spend thousands but something that sounds good. I also want the sub easy to take out if I need the room in the rear I took the rear seat out and don't plan on putting it back in.

I replaced the weakest speakers (Soundbar) with plug and play Kickers ($85). Did not make much difference. Next, I replaced the stock sub with a Kicker CVR8 8" 2 Ohm DVC sub. Had to use a .75" spacer to make it fit due to the mounting depth. Got that from ebay ($15). Sub was $100 from crutchfield. Had to buy amp wiring kit ($25) and Rockford Fosgate PBR300X1 mono amp (150W@ 2 ohms) ($155) both from Amazon. Had it installed @ Best Buy for $100 plus $15 for a line out converter. This thing rocks the entire car and you can feel the bass. Total costs was $435. Well worth the investment.

I installed these marine tower speakers a few weeks ago, an extreme improvement over stock and they sound amazing. Theyre hooked to an aftermarket hu then to a 350w amp in the back

Muniblade: I am using the stock head unit. We placed the Rockford Fosgate under the front passenger seat (2 door Rubicon) and had the adjustment dials facing out to the door (for gain, cutoff, etc). Easy to get to for tuning. As I said, don't waste your money on the soundbar and front upgrades, the sub addition rounds out the sound spectrum.

I have an Infinity Basslink. Many members here have them and are very satisfied. You wont have to add an amp because these are an all in one unit. It comes on automatically and has an adjustment dial that can be dash mounted. Check one out.

Do you have a write up? Did you drill into the roll cage? Im planning on using the Boss MRWT69 550 watt, and have a few questions.
