Default Subwoofer upgrade!!

I've done lots and lots of reading and been thinking of a way to upgrade my sound system. I do have the infinity RER system with factory sub/ my gig/ nav etc... and didn't want to lose that system. Anyway here's what I settled on and am very happy with the results!!
Left everything factory except the sub, unhooked it and went with the Kicker DX250 with remote bass controller, with that amp I was able to hook it up without line level adapters.
Also went with 2 Bazooka 6" BT6014 non powered subs that fit perfectly under the back seat! (4 dr)
I know what ur thinking cause I did too......6" sub?? but the bass is incredible. I've still got all my storage and no one can see my subs, for me it was a win win. With the bass turned down on my head unit to zero my mids and highs are clearer, amp is only 50% up and the controller is under 25%.

Hope this helps someone rock on!!

looks good!.. i am still working on my Infninty upgrade-
I tested an amp/ and sub (tapping off my infinity sub with a LOC)
works great- ( set my amp gain about 1/2 ) Head-unit bass is as ( -9 )
mid at ( -1 ) and Highs at ( +5 ) - sounds Awesome

currently borrowing brothers subwoofer- 1 10" memphis M-class with a class
A - amp at about 200watt RMS - just about rattles everything - highs and lows are great..

When I get a permanant sub- I will post all pics
amp is under back seat

this is interesting..i was looking to add to my system as well and ended up getting a shallow 12 with a truck box and security is a big issue. I am probably going to hard mount it to the tailgate..but your option i like even more.

Im tempted to get rid of the 12" and get 2 of these bazooka tubes and call it a day..im just not sure on the sound?

Had them for over a week now and am completely happy with them. Listened to everything from Nickleback, Jason Aldean, & The Black Eyed Peas! The only reservation I might have would be going doorless. I think part of the bazooka technology has to do with bass reflex, and that may be limitedvwithout the doors on

i live for my audio and electronics. the back sides of bazookas fall off really easily. and arent covered by warranty. just gotta be careful with em.
I had an old school original tube 10" with a Memphis M class in it.. It shook everything... I just got a dual 10" duraliner coated box now.. its clean and hits pretty good.. but the 1 tube shook it up pretty good. I will post pics of my upgrades...
