Hello everybody... new guy here. I'm considering buying the lighting harness from cooltech and wondering if anybody knows if you still have to put diodes inline with there harness. I sent them an email but haven't heard back.

Any help would be grestly appreciated!

 

which harness are you looking at?

 

If it's the harness for towing behind another vehicle, then NO...you do not need or use any diodes. It plugs directly into the factory wiring for the tail/brake lights.

Do you use the "Roadmaster Even Brake System"? I have one to use but I'm wondering what will happen with electrical feedback in the brake lights when it applies the brake pedal. The brake lights still work with the key off, so if I'm appling brakes in the Motorhome and sending power to the brake lights and then the "Even Brake" system actvates the Jeep brake lights by applying the brakes isn't there a feedback problem then?
