taping into fuse block

Yes, that is correct,, then power feed from the battery (with the correct inline fuse of course) through the relay contacts, to the load.

Default wiring harness

My MIC Tuning wiring harness only has one positive lead to the battery with an inline fuse. The LED witch stays lit even with the key off. From what y'alll are saying, I should not run that wire to a wire tap?
