Temp sensor bug in 4 low?
Need to know if this is common or just on my rig...
A) If I put my JK in 4 low, the temp gauge will hold the temp last read. Even when the temp has obviously gone up or down dramatically. Even if you shut it off overnight. When started up (still in 4 low) the next day, it will hold the previous days temperature until you run it in 4 Hi or 2WD for the typical 5 or so minutes it always takes to reset.
This has only been tested at higher altitudes... in case this plays into it.
B) Does this matter? (i.e. is the computer using this reading for any engine settings?)

The temp reading only updates if you are going over 20 or 25mph, can't remember which.
At low speeds it can be affected by engine temps, so it just sits on the last good reading.
Until you get back in hi-range and pick up the pace for a few minutes, it won't update.
EDIT: I just noticed you are from Boise. That's my home town... I get back there as much as I can to visit the folks and sister. I'd like to move back someday.
I grew up going to all the BSU football games, back when they sucked LOL. Still a huge fan!
