I’m deleting my spare tire and would like to know what you guys have used/recommend/stay away for third brake lights and license plate lights. Would be good to have some sort of combo too.
Thanks in advance!

I chose the cheapest option that satisfied the Texas laws, and it turned out to be dang good IMO. I use 2 little motorcycle LED lights to hold my plate on the top, and I use 2 little trailer market LEDs from Walmart ($5 for 2) as my 3rd brake light. I had to drill out 2 bolt holes on my tramp stamp just a bit, but the trailer lights fit right in there, with the wiring running through the bolt holes.
The state inspection guy was surprised and commented how bright those little lights were. Look might not be for everyone, but my rear is pretty streamlined.

Definitely giving me some options I hadn't thought of before. Thank you!
I absolutely hated how most the 3rd brake light options for a tramp stamp like that stuck out several inches from the tailgate. Looking straight on they're not terrible, but a profile from the side looks stupid. I considered a strip light instead but liked this option better. My friend used a strip light in a similar set up. Will see if I can get a picture from him of his.
Here ya go....another take with a strip light instead:

I'm with you! Which is why I created this post. I'm also leaning more towards a strip light for brake light. Can you tell me where you go yours? ...and I just ordered the Poison Spyder tramp stamp kit.
