Default Third Brake Light

Is it possible to remove the lens and the light inside the third brake light? It appears sealed, but I wasn't sure if there was a way to do it.

Have you figured this out yet? I want to put a design in my third brake light but there doesn't seem to be a way to disassemble it without damaging the piece.

It uses permaseal. You could try baking it at 225 degrees for about 20 minutes. Then peel it apart.

This might sound stupid but.... doing that won't melt the plastic too?

It shouldn't. I have baked my plastic headlights to open them before. (Not jeep headlights)

Heat gun might work better and quicker.
