Chasing parts will drive me crazy, so I'm not going to worry about it. Besides someone out of warranty needs it more than I do, and Chrysler willl continue to pay for my rental vehicle.

Got the jeep back
To my, and the dealerships, surprise, the TIPM arrived. The worst part about this was the dealership and Chrysler's poor communication with me, and each other.
The TIPM and a new battery were installed under warranty. Fresh oil change. Rental van returned, dealership washed/vacuumed vehicle. Everyone was nice, if not well informed.
All in all I'm satisfied with the outcome. Any vehicle can have issues. I've owned some of the best, and none were without issues. As they become more sophisticated, I guess we should expect more complex issues.
The jeep is for sale. I will buy another one when Chrysler offers a diesel (As they do in Europe), or a Hemi.

Jeep sold
Well that was quick. Threw it on Craigslist, and bam, first looker hands me cash, and drives away with the Jeep. One of the many positives of Jeep ownership is high resale value, and passion driven purchases.
Until they offer a Diesel or Hemi ...

TIPM Still on backorder?
Having the same issue with the TIPM....backordered and Jeep tells me no release date.
Oh, there are 51 people ahead of me as well.
Doesn't this smell of recall to anyone?
In my case, the headlights are not working on a 18 month old vehicle.
