For starters look up the RV towing section in your owners manual, it has all the 411 your going to need. As for the 7way plug, any place should sell adapters for that, auto parts stores, wal mart, etc... You will need to turn your key to the unlock postion, the first click that will let you turn the wheel freely. Put the tranny into gear and the transfer case into nuetral. You should verify that by letting out the clutch with the engine running and make sure it wont move. Then go to the main fuse box under the hood and pull the ACC fuse up, it is in a white holder that you don't have to remove it completly but by pulling it up abput 1/2" it dissconects the fuse to keep you from draning the battery while you tow. As was posted earlier, the CoolTech wiring harness is great, went together very easy and neat. I towed mine about 3000 miles this summer with out a problem. Hope this helps.

I am having all kinds of problems with the cooltech tow harness. Relays buzzing, lights dimming with the flasher/turn signals. I have triple checked all connections and all is good. I just can't figure out the problem, has anyone else had a problem with the Cooltech Tow Harness?

I took a drive up to Cooltech and had Kendall check out the harness. The problem was in the tow vehicle, not the tow harness. Cooltech went out of their way to make sure it wasn't their product.
