I slapped my TLs in a few weeks ago with the anti-flicker harness. No zip ties, no tape, just plugged them in and put the grille back on. Maybe you got one that is defective from the factory. The circuit board inside could be out of whack.

Do you think you nicked a wire and it's grounding out? Otherwise I'd swap out the TLs.

It ended up being a wire that went from the computer? Or something it was all under warranty thank god!

the zip ties and tape were used because i broke the tab on my factory harness taking the bulb out. I did both just to make sure that I did'nt break the other one as well. If I never broke that tab, I would not have needed none of that either.

My drivers headlight students won't come on so i zip tied the wire up and it works fine.....zip ties and duck tape are my favs! :thumbup:
