Default Truck light led headlight caused check engine light

My new Truck light led headlight caused a check engine light, I have tried to redo the wiring but no good says the low beam is causing a high circuit.

Are you using the circuit to trip a relay and run that to the new light? That's how it should be.

Hope this doesn't happen to me. Do you have the anti flicker harnesses or just the standard adapter?

first iver seen of this . ive had mine hooked up to a harness for a year now and never seen a code. Others have had theirs pluged right into the stock harness with no issues other then the flicker.

I think mine tossed a cel once since I had them. But I re did the connections, ziptie'd, electrical taped, and made them more secure. No issues since. I'm using the tl anti flicker harness.

So the dealer just called me and they said the check engine light was because the computer was reading the wrong weight of oil. What's strange is that I only have just under 3000 miles and haven't changed my oil yet. They said it had an aftermarket filter as well??? Can the computer really read the weight of oil as I know some people run different oils with no problem? He said he is going to show me the filter and give me the codes but I'm just so confused as to why my 10A had a different filter and oil

I don't see how the two are related, any cause and effect relationship, could be coincidence . I've been running Truck-Lites on my 2011 Call of Duty for going on 3 years now and not a single problem.

Love my Truck-Lites!
