Default Trying to find on an aftermarket GPS system

I once saw an aftermarket gps on one of the threads that I can't find anymore. I sat on top of the dash and it had the Jeep logo on it when it was closed. I think it was a Garmin but not sure. If you know this system could you please post some info and your opinion if it's any good.

Thank you,:toung:

You're probably talking about the Garmin/Jeep trailguide. http://www.quadratec.com/products/96098_801.htm

I don't have it, but some people on here do. I heard both good and bad about it, but honestly I'd probably go with a Nuvi or some other touchscreen setup, personally, to save the money.

i picked up the garmin gpsmap60csx, also bought the dash mount and power adaptor. perfect for offroading to a trail and then taking it with you the rest of the way. the temporary sticky pad mount doesnt peel off from off roading as i suspected it would, and though the bouncing allows the power plug to come out from the back, it does beep to let me know it is on battery power so i can just press it back in. i managed to press the power cable neatly into the small gap between the left side of the radio and the dash, concealing it nicely. '07 4 door sahara with 6 cd changer.

I just purchased the Garmin Nuvi 200. I paid $250 for it and have used it for about 25 hours over the past 4 days driving to/from and around Phoenix, AZ.

I am very happy with it and surprised at how little I paid for such a nice piece of electronics. I have had other GPS's including an old Garmin GPS III pilot (and other aircraft based GPSs), a Honda built in nav system and the Jeep Commander built in nav system. This is by far the easiest to use and learn how to use. Plus its little, light, easy to hide and easy to carry.

I think that I got some kind of special, super-secret ( Best Buy computer mistake ) deal because I thought I was going to pay $350 for it. I didn't argue at the checkout counter though . Still, its worth $350 to me.

One final thing, you can download a custom vehicle icon from Garmin. One of the icons is a Jeep!
