Default Turn Signals blink too fast

I just bought a used 2010 rubi. The turn signals blink too fast on both sides. The left one sometimes returns to normal when you hit the brakes, but not always. It appears that all bulbs are working. There are some mods that have been done. The previous owner installed Pilot LED tail lights. It also has Bushwhacker fenders with LED markers. I know a fast blink usually indicates a bad bulb, but all turn signals and brake lights appear to be working. Does anyone have any ideas?

Could be the led's don't draw enough juice, and the computer thinks some bulbs are burned out.

There is no flasher in the JK. It is computer driven. The noise you hear is a mechanical relay, whose sole function is make the sound people are used to hearing for the blinkers.

Problem is normally the system sees about 4.5 to 5 amps for draw and with LEDs there is probably 1/4 of that or less, hince the fast flash.

Superbrightleds.com makes load resistors, which you can use to make the blinkers go back to normal. You would need to call them to find out which ones you would need. Make sure you mount them somewhere AWAY FROM WIRING. They get HOT and WILL MELT the wiring if mounted against it.

What they said. Or switch back to the stock tailights, if you have them available.

I've zip tied ours to the wires and never had any issues?

blancolex300 is correct. They get hot. There only purpose is to create an additional load. That transfers into heat. Better recheck your wires. It isn't instant.
