UConnect adding contacts from iPhone

Qucik question for anyone since I can't seem to figure this our. I have the REQ (6 disc) with UConnect add on. From my old Windows Mobile phone (Motorola Q) I could tell the UConnect system I wanted to send it a contact for adding to the address book, then go into the phone and send via bluetooth. Once I did that, UConnect would show the sent over contact and let me store it in the UUConnect address book. I just got an iPhone 3G last week, but I can't figure out how to send the contacts over from the iPhone. If anyone knows, I would be very appreciative. I'm sure I'm overlooking something dumb on the phone. Thanks.
First off, sorry I don't know how either. I have a 1st Gen iPhone and some of the contacts downloaded but there's no methodology I can see to the downloaded ones. I've been told they're there on the hard drive, but I can't see them. SO, I don't know how to use them. There is a way to look at the hard drive space and determine if they are there, but I don't know how to do that either! I haven't really spent much time working on this problem as I find it easier to just say "dial" and give it the number, so far anyway. Its more hand's free that way.
Its probably a 'voice" thing, but I don't know. I've ordered the 1.220 upgrade for the MyGig RER unit that came with my Rubicon. It may be the improvement that makes them viewable as I have the 1.055 that came with the Jeep.
I'll let you know if I find anything else out.

It apparently works with the MyGig radios, I just want to make it work with my non MyGig. It's kind of frustrating because my Q would do this just fine, but I can't figure out how to send them. The UConnect does everything the same as before and even says "Waiting for contact by bluetooth", but I can't seem to figure out how to send them from the iPhone. The Q was easy, because each contact had a "Send via Bluetooth" option, and presto, they would come over.
08Rubi:
Is your 3G working with the Uconnect ie can you make calls with it? I have an '09 Rubi with the RES radio and it will only work with the 3G if there are no contacts on the phone!
It is an extremely well documented problem and I speak to the Uconnect people as often as I can to try and push them into doing something. They tell me they get calls daily! It's a security issue with the iPhone BT.
My solution is to take out the sim card and put it in my old RAZOR, manually enter the numbers I call into the Uconnect and use the iPhone as an iPod in the glove box! Sucks but what ya gonna do. I have hope it will be fixed this summer with ver. 3.0 for the iPhone.

Mine is working just fine with contacts in the phone. I have paired both mine and my wife's with 2.2.1 software and have made/received calls on both with no issues so far (knock on wood).
Uggggggghhhhhh!
Wish mine was!!!! The experts know my problem but apparently have made no attempt to fix it!
The AT&T folks told me that transferring contacts won't work with the iPhone (same security problem as mine) but have you tried to save your contacts to the SIM card? Put it into your Q and viola! Problem solved.
By the way this wouldn't work with my RAZOR either but at least it calls out!

Hope this helps. The OP mentioned sending contacts from the WinMo phone via Bluetooth. The current iPhone does not have this Bluetooth functionality, though it is promised in the upcoming (June?) 3.0 software release.
Though there appear to be various (and various degrees) of solutions, the new iPhone sw release may help as well...

That makes more sense. If the function isn't there, that's why I couldn't find it. Hopefully 3.0 will provide it is as it was a good feature I used from time to time.
I hope I am not confusing the issue but here is my experience. I have the MyGig and it may be different in this feature. However, my iPhone 3G downloads the contacts each time my phone connects to the radio.
Are you talking about this connectivity or something different? Not sure what software your radio is running but this website http://mofv.com/MyGIG/ may have some answers.

Yes, the MyGig downloads them automatically, but on the non MyGig radios, you have to send them one at a time. I have a non-MyGig radio, hence why I was trying to figure out how to send them from the iPhone.
