That would probly make me feel more at ease than trying to drill through a thin piece of plastic. I haven't broken anything... Yet.

how goes the install so far? i was planning on installing the same thing here in a few months? Also have you taken pictures to show your progression of the install?

 

The install went great. I really like it. The hardest part was getting the big wire up top to fit behind the radio again. And I did wind up drilling through the glove compartment. With the grommet, it just makes everything look more finished. See if this link to a FEW pictures works...

I am considered too new to post a sale ad, but I have a Uconnect kit and the iPod cable that I no longer need since I replaced the system with a MyGig. If interested let me know. I am asking $180 for both parts. PM if interested. Also have the stock single disk radio as well.
