Uconnect Kit
All,
I have a 2009 JKU sahara and a RES radio with a uconnect button. I'm looking to get some information from someone smarter then me! (doesn't take much somedays!)I have a chance to get a 82210082 uconnect kit for almost nothing but don't know if
a: is the 82210082 just an older version of the Uconnect kit (will it work in the wrangler?)
b: does it accept the ipod cable and work to control an Ipod?

on this one was well -- I have an 08 Sahara Unlimited and it has the MyGig/Nav with the Uconnect button. I followed the tutorial in one of the other forum threads and when holding the seek up/down buttons with the menu button, I didn't have an option to enable uconnect...which pretty much means there is some kind of software issue or upgrade that I'm missing...I'd like to know what exactly I need to do to get this thing working....also, any ideas on how someone with an 08 would install software updates for maps, etc.?
