I think I posted here a while ago or searched for a solution to my uConnect not hearing me when I was trying to put in commands. It never worked since I purchased my Jeep. Since the weather is nice I finally had a chance to go digging around to see what's up. Here's what I found. Somebody had cut the mic head off of the microphone wire. That explains a lot. Found a replacement on eBay for about $40.

 

LOL. I can picture you continuing to hit the button and just speaking louder and louder each time. Glad you found the reason....stinks it cost $40 for the solution.

haha at least you have uconnect - my salesman told me it was part of the deal, but nope...

 

So I received my new microphone and hooked it up. Everything works, which is awesome! Pair up my phone and then realize the 230 REQ doesn't do bluetooth streaming.
