under seat sub which one?
I am looking to add a little bass to my jeep not much just enough to know it is there. I have a 2010 jku and dont want to take up space in back. Dont want to have to remove either.
I am looking at
Amazon.com : New Rockford Fosgate PS-8 Single 8" 150W Active Shallow Car Subwoofer Loaded Box : Electronics
and
Amazon.com: Blaupunkt Blue Magic XLf 200 A 300-Watt 8-Inch Low Profile Active Subwoofer System: Car Electronics
anyone have experience with either one. My local car audio store recommends the blaupunkt. But that is what he sells. I do not know the name. German
Any help both have 150 watts with 300 max I believe

If you only desire a little more bass and you have the stock subwoofer I would recommend trying a more powerful aftermarket amp with your stock sw first and see if that's enough for you. Then you could try an aftermarket sw that will fit without modification, also with the amp, before adding weight and taking up space unnecessarily by adding an enclosure.
I have all aftermarket pieces now, including a sw box, but I still have my stock sub in the stock location. (Stock infinity sub) I put external inputs on the stock box so when I remove my sw box, (For space, lose some weight,, etc), I can plug the amp into the stock sub. Im pushin 400watts @ 2ohms to my 12" thru an arc audio amp. (Im not an audiophile, but this is a great amp and installs in the factory location under the steering wheel)
I've plugged the stock sw in several times and I'm honestly very surprised by the increase in bass. You can feel it in the cabin and through the floor and seat. Slightly vibrates the mirrors. Even while driving on fwy with windows down it still has a presence. It makes me think maybe I really didn't need the 12" sub box. But then I remember I love loud, tight, clean bass. I like to slap it hard sometimes lol. Anyway, I'm just giving my opinion with frugality in mind. Hope you end up with what you're looking for!
