Default Upgrading to MOPAR LED headlights

I just picked up a used set of 2017 JK LED headlights. Before I put them in, are there any tips or tricks from those that have been down this path? Anything I should check on the used ones (I read about broken tabs, but don't think I have any). I watched the quadratec video and it looked pretty straightforward. I got the Fogs as well!

There is only one problem with them.....for whatever reason they tend to F up rear axle shaft retainer bolts. Use at your own risk!

Quadtratec actually has a pretty good vid on this -

(sorry, you've seen the Q video)

There's been reports that the Quadratec LED fog light modules fixing the newer Mopar fog lights. After buying the cheap ones and having it bite me in the ass ($600 TIPM), I'm hesitant to try anything else. Every now and again, the fogs will work correctly, then they'll end up dumping back out.

So a cheap anti flicker harness can ruin the TIPM, that's good to know. I have only found one plug and play option so far, a GTR lighting PWM interface module. I can't find anything else for 2504 to 2504.

I bought the iJDMtoy ones and they melted my TIPM. I bought the GTR ones and they were almost guaranteed to work. They did nothing for me. Literally, I got zero light from the bulbs. I'm tempted on the Quadratec ones but $600 and a couple days down stings, not to mention the smell of melty plastic.

I read a review on the GTM ones and it said you have to repin them, or flip them over. Apparently they come with polarity reversed.

Given the price on the GTR and the price on the Qtec, I think I'd take my chances with Qtec that does quite a bit for the jeep community instead of a company that does more "one size fits all".....but then again, I got burned by them so I'm a little sour. This was on a 2016 putting in newer fog lights.

I plugged in the GTR ones and had no light as well. I called headlight revolution and they had me flip the connector over where it plugs into the light, worked perfect. I repinned it so it locks into place.

I got the headlights in last night no flickering, and got the fog lights figured out so it all seems good. The passenger side headlight does seem more wobbly than the drivers side, as in if I push at the top it moves a little easier. Is that common? I notice they both move some.
