Default Viewing Back up cam via JEEP GPS screen

Has anyone utilized the Factory GPS to use as a back up cam? I spoke with someone Saturday who has this set up, he used a harness from LockPick, at http://www.coastaletech.com/ which allows for this. I wonder if it is effective, as I cannot see our my back window with the 35 back there.

I have mine setup with a camera mounted on the spare tire mount so it looks out though the top spokes of the wheel the wide lens gives a great view, I would snap you a picture of the view but my trailer is hooked up for the next day or 2 and all I can see right now is a gray wall

Cool back up cam

What camera did you use?

I found a simple one at:

But not sure of the quality, do you have a recommendation?

The one I use is no longer made but they have lots more, http://www.crimestopper.com/securview05.htm
Just about any camera will work usually the less expensive the less quality
