Go with the DSM 250. I believe that is the newer model with GPS included.

I bought all of my alarm accessories off of Flea-Bay at much lower than retail and had the install completed at Best Buy. I know the local guys at best buy and trusted them to do it all. They gave me a great deal on the install prices since I had so many components. I had my radio/xm/back up cam/ipod adapter/subs/amp installed at the same time too so I don't know the exact install price I paid for just the alarm but I paid total $550 for all of the above to be installed. I have had zero issues and they even installed the switch for me on the proximity sensor a couple weeks after the install. The windy city was a little much for the outer perimeter at first. It works great now.

I did not go with the tilt due to the sway that you get with a lift in the wind. I didn't want to have more false alarms.

Also the Python/Viper alarms can be bought relatively lower than retail as well on Flea-Bay but just make sure you buy BRAND NEW UNOPENED alarms... no factory refurbished!

 

Yeah, I was going to try to talk to my distributer to see if he'll take back the DSM-100 and pay the difference for the DSM-250. I hope he will.
