Well from everything I've looked at your unused connector appears to be the harness for the optional hood pin sensor for the mopar security system. I don't have one but that doesn't say much.

Looking at some of the schematics I've seen mention of automatic head light levelers for the European market, check to see if you have a similar wire on the other side.
