Default What After Market Head Unit, Speakers,Sub and Amp Do You Recommend

It time to upgrade the sound system in my JK Unlimited. I would like the head unit to have NAV,SIRUS and Bluetooth. Bass is not that important, but sound quality is. My current system does not not have the OEM sub in the back. Any suggestions?

If you already have an iPhone, you can go with a Pioneer 4000nex and the Apple CarPlay upgrade. It has Pioneers top of the line DVD unit but uses your iPhone for Nav so you save $400-500. Has optional Sirius/XM, excellent features and sounds great.

After disappointment with cheap upgrades and mods, I am very happy with my current setup: Pioneer 7000NEX, JBL MS62c Components, plug and play Kickers in the soundbar, JL Stealth Box, powered by Alpine PDX-V9.

Many versions of the NEX unit have similar functions but i preferred the larger touch screen and layout. I have a stealthbox in my Sorrento and was impressed so i got one for the Jeep too. I am very happy with the output, although was a bit pricey. some have done underseats boxes and are happy with them as well. The 5 channels Alpine PDX amp provides plenty of clean power; i currently have it bridged for the front components and the sub, the factory amp powers the soundbar. You can probably go with a 4 channel amp for fronts/sub and use the radio to power the soundbar if rear fill is not as important to you.

If i was more cost concious and didn't require as much power, i would be hapy with a lower model NEX, Pioneer Components, 4 channel Pioneer Compact Amp, and a Pioneer thin line sub. I'm not a Piooner fanboy but have had all their components and they all served me well.

Just installed Kenwood DNX891HD headunit with back up camera, Morel hifi Tempo 6.5" components in front and Maximo 6.5" in sound bar, JL Audio 12tw3 in custom built box with JL Audio XD700/5 to power everything. I have the same setup in my F250 and it is awesome. Would highly recommend. Only downside to the Kenwood is you have to use their cables to get all the a/v functions to work.

My passenger dash speaker is starting to pop so I'm looking into upgrading all my speaker. I'm still deciding on the head unit because the AUX is messed up. I really don't want to spend over $200 so nothing too fancy but I want good quality. I frequently have the top down so something that won't get damaged from water is preferred. I know very little about sound systems so I need all the help I can get! Is this a pretty easy DIY job?
