I have PIAA 520 ATP that I modified to take a 55w 6k HID on the KC lamp brackets.

Love the brackets, solid solid solid. The solid look just fits with the Jeep.

The lights however are now so bright that I have only had opportunity to turn them on when goofing off. They are absolutely blinding when reflecting off a sign even a hundred yards away. Even rural roads are too traveled to feel comfortable using them. I knew they were off road lamps, so not a huge deal.

Love the brightness, but if I had to to it again I would opt for the dual beam PIAA that uses the H4 bulb. Very directed light and off road are not common occurrences unless you are racing. I would have preferred a much wider pattern of light.

I would go for the wide flood pattern, not to many times are you off road at night and need to see half a mile ahead.

What this round part behind the light bar, with a bolt on it? Is it supposed to hold or adjust something?

Thanks.
It's a Lange quick release III mirror relocation bracket for no doors, half door, tube doors.
Allows you to slide a post or motorcycle type mirror through and secures it with a set screw.

Loving the plasmaglow switches. I plan to use those whenever I get around to getting some Duallys.

However, I would never consider the KC mounts to be a down and out style. To me, the only down and out style are the Mopar ones and the Smittybilt ones.

Down and out compared to the rugged Ridge and Rampage that I have had before. These are as far out as they can get and not hit my new antennaX stubby antenna. Thanks on the switches, they are pretty sweet
