We run Optima red tops on a boat that has electronics and have had good luck over the past two years. I was told Optima yellow top for my Jeep but have yet to get one.

I like the Die Hard. The Optima and Die Hard are made by Johnson Controls.

Odyssey - simply the best. Sears DieHard Platinum is the same battery in a grey case instead of orange. They will take tremendous abuse and still keep working. I swear by them and have three in my Jeep.

I'm very happy with my Optima yellow top.

I use two Optima yellow tops which perform perfectly.
For battery isolator, I use the Red Arc Smart Isolator SBI212, 200 Amp.

I've owned them all on multiple vehicles (was even sponsored by optima) and my favorite to date is the Duralast Platinum from AutoZone

My 07 Jeep still has the OEM but my other cars use the Die Hard Platinum. Last really a long time and the Sears' warranty is excellent. The one in my wife's car failed, after several years, and Sears changed it for a brand new one.

I'm impressed by the Jeep's battery but getting ready to replace it anytime soon even though it is not showing failure signs.

Best Jeep batteries are the Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) type.

Best AGM batteries seem to be Optima, Sears Platinum, and Odyssey.

Best version of these batteries for a Jeep is the "RV/Cranking" type. They will start the engine and also do some deep-cycling when the engine isn't running.
