Default Whats wrong with this camera?

My backup camera is scrolling up and down on screen. Its odd, on one of my tv's at home it works fine - no scrolling. On another tv, same wires used, it scrolls. When hooked up to my garmin 7200 in my car, it scrolls.

Does anyone know whats going on here?
thanks for your help.

Without actually seeing it, it sounds like some kind of interference.

what kind of interfierence?
Its strange because it works on a newer Sharp LCD tv but not on an older Sony tube TV. I wonder if it has to do with the refresh rate or frame rate of the camera... anyone have any ideas???

its a round backup camera. Like many others have installed on this forum. It is hooked up to my Garmin 7200 GPS. My 6-disk changer is hooked up my gps as well and plays dvd's fine.

This is weird...without more info it's really hard to say what the issue is. Maybe the camera is PAL and not NTSC? That's the only thing that comes to mind.

I thiink your right JackMacOKC. I can't find any info on the video output of my camera. The box it came in doesn't say anything either. I think its only outputting PAL.

For all the people that DO HAVE A CAMERA THAT WORKS, which one do you have and where did you get it from. Mine looks exactly the same as ones i've seen on this forum, but obviously isn't. I have all the wiring done and ready to go. I JUST NEED A CAMERA!!!

Yeah, but thats just a way out there hunch..not necessarily accurate in any way. What you're describing sounds very peculiar. Might run by a local car audio shop and see if they can take a quick look..maybe it's something glaringly obvious that they've seen before.

I don't know what the going rate for cameras is, but that one posted looks like it's on the lower-end. Also, another guy posted a review about it, describing similar issues as yours. He thinks it's wiring. Is it wired up all right???
