Default Where is the external temperature sensor?

Noticed that my outside temperature has read 74 degrees for the past 2 days, despite it being 81 degrees outside now, and was in the high 80s yesterday....not sure if maybe something has come loose....but wanted to check it out before taking it in to the dealer to look at it.

Mine does the same thing. It fixes itself after a while.

Does anyone have a fix for this? My outside temp will be fine for a few days and then read 20 degrees off and then eventually correct itself. The dealer finally put a new sensor on it but it hasn't changed any. Another annoying electrical "feature"!

Well, at least it's consistant.....
The temp readout is wrong.
The MPG readout is wrong.
The DTE readout is wrong.
The compass is wrong(mine has a mind of it's own sometimes).

I don't pay it much attention anymore:sad:

Connection was fine....everything looked clean....but this can be downright funny at times.

Was in the high 90s one day, then got real cool the next day....was in the low 50s when I left for work, but temp read as 92 all the way to work.

Finally kicked to the right temperature on the way home.

Then all day the following day, read at 64 degrees, despite it being in the high 80s by the end of the day.

It seems to take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour+ for it to set itself correctly.
