That salesman deserves a punch in the face. I would tell the sales manager that he doesn't deserve to get credit/commission on the sale because he's an idiot and knowingly lied to you. Okay, off the soapbox...

As to the rest of the threads and 2014s - had my dealer fax me a copy of my order form today. So all dealers should be able to order- you may have to kick them to if they still have a sizeable inventory of 13s but ordering IS open.
