Default Winch power cables

I'm looking to move the solenoid box for my Smittybilt to the firewall, but need a place to get some long 2 or 4 gauge wire to run between the solenoid and the winch.
does anyone have a good place to get these wires from?

All i can find local is a spool of 25' of 4 gauge for $50, and I'll have to put the ends on myself.

What about some battery cables from Harbor Freight? I saw a set for like $20 bucks or so. Just cut off the clip ends and solder on new ones.

Go to any local Audio Shop (NOT best Buy) and buy it by the foot. They'll have sizes down to 00 gauge and every 2 after that. Used for installing amps and such in cars, it'll survive just fine in engine compartments. You could also use welding wire from a welding supply company, but it's pretty tough stuff.
