Default Windshield Light Brackets???

I apologize in advance if this is covered already, I did search for a clear answer and didn't find it.

Which windshield light bracket do you guys prefer? The variety out there are similar but some have different offset which moves the light position.

thanks

I got the KC brackets because they we less expensive. Just be prepaired to paint them maybe with line x or something durable. This is after 3 months in Michigan winter.

Mopar down & out.
KC, more inboard and higher up.

Personnal preference as to which you like, KC's may interfere with view, Mopar ones will interfere with antenna depending on light size installed.

there is a picture with both on one Jeep for comparison, gimme a few i'll see if i can dig it up.

Edit: Here it is. Photo courtesy of Caleb

KC on the passenger side, Mopar on the Driver's side.

I personally prefer the Mopar version & installed them on mine with 8" Ralley lights and a hacked off antenna (8")

IMO not as good. Moper brackets are lower thus allow more choice of lights. KC or RR brackets are fine for slimline 6" lights, but you'll need Moper brackets for 8" lights or the deeper HID lights.

8" slimline KC lights on Moper brackets :

Not to highjack a thread...But I have the KCs love em. If they looked like the ones in the pic I would call KC and ask for a replacement. I was very careful not to scratch the finish when I installed mine and they still look new. IMO the KC up and in look better and you don't notice them at all while driving.

I have the mopar's. Down and out of the way. Had to mod the antenna but that is no big deal.
