Default Windshield lights

I am interested in getting some lights for my windshild but looking through here, it is hard to do a comparrison since they are all over the place.

So, can people please post pics and specs here of what they have done so I, and others, can start doing a comparison.

Thanks in advance.

I bought the Smittybilt mounts because they sit a little lower and out away from the winshield so they don't block your view as much as some mounts. The lights are Hella 500's, I just painted the covers black with a rubberized paint. So far I'm happy with the setup.Click image for larger version

Mbrp brackets and 7" IPF lights. Very pleased with the setup.

Like CrazyShadow said antenna would bounce off the lights. Gets very annoying very quickly. Pulled the antenna and replaced with rubber antenna X unit. No lore contact and looks much better.

ORW has a review of Hella's lights on on the main page of their site, and also a comparison at night on youtube, wouldn't be a bad place to start.

I went BIG... 8" KC 130w Spots on Mopar windshield mounts. (The lights on my bumper hoop are 6" KC's.)

Ive got the Hella 500ff!!!

My lights came with mounting hardware, so I just got this weird washer looking thing to put under the mounting bracket. Looks good, works flawlessly!

I went this route cause I didn't want to spend the extra $30+ on a little bracket.
