Wireless Warn Lights
I saw these in the Quadratec spring catalogue...Just wondering if any one knows anything about them. I like the though of not having to drill through the firewall.
I wouldn't add uneccessary stuff like that either... It'll only take an hour to install the wired kit and you'll be happy you never have to charge anything, remember batteries, or wonder why the hell turning on your lights opens your garage door.
I wouldn't let the firewall stop you from installing wired switches. There are three pre-existing holes in manual transmission Jeeps and four in automatic transmission Jeeps.
Now if you're worried about drilling clean holes in your dash to mount switches or can't find a switch design you like, I say go for the wireless version. Still I'd hate to lose or drive over the remote out on the trail.

Since you shouldn't be running the full current of the lights through the dash anyway..... a 16 gauge wire through the exisiting holes to trigger the relay is really a non-issue.
After you finish it the holes and wiring will seem like a non-issue. Don't let that be the deciding factor on the wireless jobbies.

I'm very serious about getting these also no wires inside and if I'm standing away from my Jeep just hit the remote and you have light. Seems like it would be a good thing for me no extra holes in my dash, but on the other hand I wonder if you can run two sets on 1 remote and if someone else has them if u hit the switch will it turn theirs on too?

A) there's places selling these lights cheaper than the $1200 (for the wireless ones) Quadratech has them listed at. Or better yet... I'm looking at the wrong lights... because no set of lights are worth that much. At that price they better do the dishes & laundry as well as everything else I need.

B) if you're looking for HID lights, there's many other cheaper options. If you want a brand name light, have a look at the LightForce HIDs (~400 for a pair) or the KCs (I think around 600/800 for a pair - but don't quote me on this as I never really looked at those). For some lesser name lights, look at the reviews in my sig (~100-140 each).
As others have said... it's not a big deal to put one little hole in the dash for a switch (or tap your fogs/high beams to power a relay - then no switch in the cab at all). Just think how many decent HID lights you could get for the price of those wireless ones...
As for how usefull the wireless ones are over the wired ones... well at the price's I'm seeing, I'll walk to my jeep to turn the lights on... or just leave them on when you leave the jeep... sorry, but these get two thumbs down just due to the price & ability to lose/forget the on/off remote...

I just ordered a wireless 12v 4-channel switch that I can run all 3 pairs of light through. The switch carries up to 6 amps per circuit, so it seems safe to wire only the switch wires through it. Also, I can keep all the wiring under hood and make sure it is waterproof. I thought about loosing the key fob, but I'll just mount it on the jeep with an extra battery. The thought of being able to control my lights from 75 feet away really intrigued me.

That would rock!!!!
