Default Wiring

I'm wiring my switches and wondering about wire size when grounding. Can I use 18 gauge wire?

All depends on the load. Be sure not to exceed the load rating of the switch. If the switch is rated for 15amps, then you should use 14awg wire. Also make sure you use an inline fuse as close to the battery as possible. Hope this helps

The ground and power is only for the light in the switch. The power will be ran from the switch to a relay.
