Lightbulb Wiring Confirmation Requested

Hello All,

I know this has been discussed here numerous times but I do suffer from a small bout of OCD so I’m requesting a quick confirmation on the wiring diagram I have made up.

I plan on connecting my Pioneer DEH-P7700MP HU (from my old 02 TJ) to my JK within the next few days. I have the Infinity package with the stock amp and sub. The diagram below shows the wires coming out of the Aftermarket HU harness on the LEFT and where I plan to connect them on the RIGHT.

Confirmations / Corrections / Suggestions are all welcome!

Black – Ground – To chassis body or splice to Black/White wire on stock HU harness.
Yellow – +Battery – Splice to Red wire in stock HU harness or direct to battery +.
Red – Ignition – To driver’s side cigarette lighter.
Orange/White – Illumination – To driver’s side cigarette lighter.
Blue/White – System Remote Control – Nothing right now but will use for future aftermarket amp.

All speaker connections below are to be made by running new speaker wire to the output side of the stock amp. I will regain control of all speakers, except for the sub. Right?

Grey: RFS+
Grey/Black: RFS-
White: LFS+

Purple: RRS+

FYI: For all those interested. I do plan on purchasing Metra’s CHTO-03 but I spoke to them today and I was told that it would be at leas 30 days until is shipped to their warehouses. I hope it’s not true but I would rather bypass the stock amp for now and then do a quick fix later than wait for who knows how long for the harness.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
