Wiring needed to add sub and amp?
A line out converter, or LOC
simple device... uses speaker wiring to create a line-level output (pretty much turns speaker wires into RCA cables). Scosche makes a simple one available for about $12 available in your favorite online jungle.
Simply follow the directions on the package! I spliced mine into the rear speaker wire loom, located under the plastic trim piece between the passenger front and rear door. Amp remote wire can be spliced into the cig lighter that is only active when the car is on
(I'm assuming you know how to wire an amp, you just want to know how to get RCAs wired in)
I have no amp "popping" when turning on, and sub sound quality is on par with an aftermarket head unit. Stock rear speakers will still suck though, but won't be any worse than before you started!
