Default Wiring thru firewall

Just installed my set of rigid D2s and i was looking for the best easy access spot without drilling thru the firewall any ideas? I simply went around the door seal to make em work until i get my A pillar switches.

Don't know about the 12'-14's, but 07-11's have a hole in the upper right hand side of the engine bay in the fire wall that's filled with foam. Tape your wires to a coat hanger, and slide them through the foam to the other side under the driver side dash panel. Clean n easy.

I have a 20012 and you have two factory options, on each side of your dash you have a vertical plastic panel that pops off. Each panel faces the door. Pop off one of the panels, which ever one is closer to the switch you install. You will see a rubber grommet on either side the penetrates the firewall. Very easy to do!

Yes! Foam filled hole is what I used. Pop panel off either side of dash and you will see.

It doesn't actually go into the engine compartment but along side it still under the hood. That's how I wired my KC driving light relay switch.

I did this on the passenger side, ran 2x 7 conductor trailer wires running to a marine distribution block so now I have up to 7 dedicated, fused jumpers to the cabin as well as 7 grounds, all to the same block. That block is also on a maser breaker if I need to kill all accessories.

This is what I have:

This is similar to the wire used, 2 runs are very convenient as they are all color coded.

I put my switch In the exact same place for my rigid duallys. However, I ran my wires through an existing hole in the firewall on the drivers side. But whatever works for you.
