Default Wont replace windshield bc of 50' light bar?

Long story short, my jeep was at the stealership and they managed to put a crack in my windshield and they will only pay a certain company to replace it, but the company said they cannot replace it unless I take my 50' lightbar with poison spyder mounts off for them to do it. Has anyone else had to do this to replace the windshield?? I find it kinda absurd but maybe it's just me

Hmm. Well, given that the mounts are "in the way" (however true or not true this might be), I might just humor them and pull the mounts temporarily so that you can get covered. It's probably not worth fighting about.

Yeah I had to take mine off as well to get my windshield replaced. If you saw much they have to reef on it sometimes you'd understand that they need the space. I thought it was silly at first and then saw him do it and was like... probably for the best lol.

All I did was undo the a-pilar mounts and then with a person on each side rested the whole thing on the hood.

Also helps if you keep your doors on. Roof off helps. But doors I guess they lean on for stabability sometimes and that didn't help the guy when he was doing it lol.

A little off topic but I've got the same mounts and I'm trying to decide which 50" light bar to purchase that will fit perfectly. Which bar are you using? Could you attatch a link? So long as its not a link to Rigid Industies website, because I can't afford them
