This guy is rather local and we were discussing it and just wondering if this would work on the Stock NON infinity system and how install would be?

swapping the speakers and adding an amp and subs will help alot, however the quality will be the same but sound better if that makes sense? like you will get a better sounding speaker instead of the stock ones which cut out deeper tones more quickly, like there's too much sound for the speaker so it just tries to do it but it can't...thats how i can explain it.. stock speakers can only take you so far, while aftermarket can handle much more. subs take care of the low end after you tune it, i can live with adding a sub but eventually (if i don't lift/ties/wheels) i'll do a system with an amp/speakers and HU with nav sirius and the whole sha-bang. but if you are fine using the same head, i'd just do the speakers and sub(s) you can always swap out a head unit later on, or just do it all and be done and not sleep at all because you love your jeep so much
