Yeah I know it's not plug and play. The hid harness is takin power directly for the battery an grounded to the battery ground on the chassis. I thought that the headlight switch would only be for activating the HID relay and it wouldn't be drawing power through this.

I get nothin, not even a flicker

Thanks for looking into it

The ON signal still comes from the OE headlight circuit. No aftermarket device likes this output because it is pulsed. Neither lighting ballast nor relays. Ther is only one way to resolve this issue. Capacitor.

Ok I don't have a lot of experience with automotive wiring. What are we talking about, where would I need to put this capacitor?

It is connected "in-line" to the headlight circuit. I can't help you with the size tho. Maybe someone else can help you with that.

Inline with the stock wiring or the relay harness?

Connect the OE headlight circuit to the capacitor. Then connect the capacitor to the relay / lighting ballast. The size of the cap will be based on whatever load it is connected to. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with prescribing cap sizes.

Silly question, but mine wouldn't fire either, I checked the fuse that is inline from the batter to the relay and it wasn't seated... perhaps?
