Default XSVI-6522 Harness Not Working

XSVI-6522

So I purchased this harness for my '08 4 Door, and the connector is not even the same fit...what gives? Everybody is saying that this is the harness, but it's obviously not. Is it just my Jeep? Are 2008 models requiring a different harness now?

I don't know what to do --- should I get the harness for the Infinity system even though I don't have Infinity?

The problem was that when the installer tried a different harness (which was $150) the speaker volume was terribly low...barely even audible.

So now I have no idea which harness to buy.

I'm running a stock Unlimited X. I'm trying to put in the Pioneer F700BT. Any suggestions?

It didn't plug into the factory harness at all???

Do you have pictures of the harness you have, and the jeep's harness???

No, no pics sorry --- I will try uploading the pics of the female ends today.

Anyway, apparently, the audio was so low with the new harness because of a known issue with Pioneer units...the installer had used the RCA connectors instead of using the speaker wire.

But, since it was late, we didn't get a change to strip the wires to see if it would work.

I'll try getting those pics up soon...
