Default 2014 JKU Build

Hello! I have always enjoyed looking at everyone else's build threads on every Jeep forum there is, and decided to finally do one myself. My name is Dylan, currently living in beautiful Hawaii. Hopefully I can keep up with this thread daily. I have a lot of stuff done to it already, but will be having some huge changes in the coming year.

I bought my brand new 2014 JKU Sport in Florida before heading out to Hawaii. It was either this or a Tacoma, and I am glad I chose the Jeep!

(Not sure why they are showing sideways, let me know if anyone knows how to fix?)

Someone from one of the Jeep groups out here was making One ton tie rods & Drag links, so I decided to purchase some a while back. They are 1.5" diameter / 1/4" thick DOM tubing with one ton ends. I also picked up a Synergy track bar relocation bracket and did a drag link flip during the install.

Unfortunately I never was in the habit of taking a bunch of photos during installs so I don't have many of photos throughout.. but here are most that I do have.. I hope to start taking more with all future mods and uploading them..

Here are Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers. I love these things, SUPER beefy. I do regret taking on the install by myself, it was a pain and another set of hands would have been great! They are powder coated anodized black.

Poison Spyder Hood Louver. Install was pretty straight forward. However, one thing I did forget to do was mask off around where the hood louver will be, because metal shavings get everywhere and will scratch up your paint pretty good.

Poison Spyder Rear D44 Diff Cover. Did this Paint scheme at first until I decided I just want everything black on my Jeep.

This was my favorite Poison Spyder purchase by far. I couldn't wait to get this thing. Picked it up at the 4 Wheel Parts Expo last year out here. I highly recommend setting aside a solid 1-2 days for install, depending on your experience and how many helpers you have. It is an extensive install!

Very solid locking mechanism. I heard about the old one breaking a lot and what not, but I assure you.. this new one will not break!
