Mounted the water pack to the rack. Problem is the Action Packer or cooler needs to be pulled to get at the vent.

ETA: Turns out I can open the gate to get to the vent from the back.

Better cap for the water pack, the yellow cap barley made a quarter turn.

Gas Can Cap

Didnt like the plastic pop a vents out there so went with this metal one, nice no leaks. Pops-A-Vent

Will be using both and the spigot on the Rubican when it comes in.

Broke my rule of putting food in my drinks cooler over the winter, now it needs to be heat pressure wash cleaned and scrubbed.

Ill only run the lower rack on day trips or if Im sleeping in someone elses tent/camper/cabin.

Got my fender mounts and Rubican in today. I only did the driver side because I wanted to try the vent and spigot on the Rubican. The caps I have are smaller then the Rubicans neck so Ill have to do what Scherb did and cut some plastic and DIY. I did get the vent installed.

Very easy to install and stable. Once I install the CB the drivers side will stay on as the antenna mount, I may not leave the passenger side on unless I need it for more gas.

Because it was bugging me I decided to try and make the cap the Rubican came with work with the spigot, so far it has. Ill be checking it for leaks but so far looks good.

And while I was digging threw the boxes, Retrofit already delivered with a sticker so 2 fingers up.

Mounted another Rotopax mount for a water pack I have on the way. The Pack in the pictures is for the rear rack so its upside down, the can that will go there will be vented up and spout pointed down.
